As a Realtor in the Washington DC/Northern Virginia area for more than 20 years, I’ve had the honor of guiding hundreds of people through the often overwhelming process of buying and selling their homes.
As a member of a Foreign Service family for 22 years who moved in and out of 5 different countries, I have a deeply personal understanding of all of the elements of a move: the chaos of packing, the mixed emotions of moving to a new place, sadness of leaving friends and family behind, excitement about the adventure ahead.
My 7 years in banking and finance were invaluable in helping me educating my clients how to navigate the numbers – mortgages, determining market value, advising which improvements will bring the greatest return, offers and counteroffers.
BUT buying or selling a home is not just about the numbers: it’s moving into the next phase of your life. Whether it’s buying that first condo, expanding into a larger home, or downsizing once the kids have gone – this move is a tangible symbol of the transition in your life.
Everyone deserves to feel cared for and fully supported during this important transition, and I am grateful for the privilege of helping to guide my clients through the process.
Being a Realtor is about understanding what my clients really want, and then expertly helping them to make the decisions that get them there.
Ultimately, it’s about making their experience as effortless and easy as it can be.
What I believe:
I believe that homes are more than structures; they are safe havens for their souls, their dreams, their cherished memories, future experiences and friends.
I believe that true success is about building and nurturing long-term relationships. I stay in touch long after the sale is complete, advising and connecting them with resources they need to enjoy and improve their homes.
I believe in the importance of creating a sense of community and fun, bringing people together through parties and events.
So send me a message! I’d love to talk with you about your particular needs!
